Meet the BCS Teams
Save Our Sisters, Miami
Save Our Sisters (SOS) is a non-profit organization, and South Florida’s first Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Racing team. We are a survivor group whose focus is on living, rather than on the disease that brought us together. Team SOS members are from all walks of life, range in age from 30s to 70s with varied interests and fitness levels. SOS offers an active, health-giving, life affirming opportunity for breast cancer survivors.

The Mammoglams is an all-breast cancer team. This team focuses on camaraderie, emotional support, and being engaged in a healthy lifestyle in order to improve the quality of life for breast cancer survivors. They consider themselves a “floating support group” and live by the motto, “We won the battle, Now let’s paddle!” The Mammoglams typically paddle in four to five festivals per year. If they are interested in attending more festivals, they often paddle with the Saltwater Slayers team.
